I was in the toy store the other day (to remain unnamed for legal purposes), looking for bargains for my little twin granddaughters (being a good Memaw, of course). Before I discovered the Lil' Shopper play set I was troubled by many of the child toys I saw. I am a staunch acceptor that healthful habits start at a young age, and one of the best ways to impress these good habits are with the toys we buy for our baby. On my shopping trip I noticed a number of items that I believe typify healthy habit forming toddler toys, but none more blatantly than in the Lil Shopper play set. In too many other playthings, this was not the situation.
My granddaughters are now two years old and no longer infants, but are still under the age limit for certain toys. The age suggestion on the Lil' shopper play set is 6 months, so it is not only safe for young children, but you will get tons of use out of the Lil' shopper as the company states that this plaything is good for toddlers up to the age of 18 months.

Included in the Lil' shopper play set is:

* A cabbage with crinkly leaves and semi-quiet rattle. Fun to look at as well as interact with.
* An apple with chimes when it is shaken (and not in that blaring, obnoxious way either) and a crinkly leaf.
* An orange with a rattle in it (you probably need to put this up when you get a headache). It also opens and closes, so it is much more interactive than a average rattle.
* A little blue milk container with a hidden mirror beneath the flap.
* A soft little green bag that holds all the little groceries.
* A banana that crinkles when the peels move.

All in all the Lil' shopper play set is a fantastic selection for your small child. It is interactive as well as a brilliant gadget to help reinforce good eating and shopping habits early in their little life cycle.
